10.22.2007 Portland School Committee Recall Effort

Dean was proud to join with Nick McGee and the Portland Republican City Committee as they gathered signatures to recall the school committee members responsible for a series of grievances, the most blatant being the decision to provide birth control pills to students at the King Middle School without parental consent.

Dean Scontras for Congress applauds the efforts of Nick and his committee for standing on principle and working to protect the rights of parents to be involved in their children's lives.
